Mishaka Pond

This pond was the setting for Kaii Higashiyama’s painting “Green Resonance.” Its strongly acidic water prevents aquatic life, which enhances the pond’s serene atmosphere. The surrounding mountains are reflected on the calm surface, creating a magical scenery.
